I started off with some really heavy films. This is an interesting film to talk about, but not a heavy film, so I thought that might make a nice change. But there is another heavy one for the Tamil ReRun on Tuesday, if you crave heavy.
Befikre! Aditya Chopra’s most recent film. A little light five finger exercise kind of thing, not genius or brilliant or big or deep or any of that. Just a pleasant little romance that is interesting to think about and pleasant to watch. At least, that’s what I thought.
Most importantly, it wasn’t seen by very many other people so this is a chance for you to watch it for the first time and then come back and talk with us all about it!

Well, I saw it. The problem is that throughout my life, I’ve seen a loooooot of French romantic comedies and ‘amour fou’ movies (I bet, Aditiya saw some of them, too…and I definitely know that ShahRukh watched some – not forcibly those in the comedy-departement…).
I agree with your “light five finger exercise” and think “why not write about a nice pair of lovers”?

Well, I look forward to your comments on the rerun anyway! I think you weren’t reading when I first reviewed it.

I’d love to come back and discuss this, but I’ll be in Bangladesh. Which means that instead I’ll be seeing Ranveer go by on the side of a bus or something, but probably no time to watch and comment.

Oh well, you can always watch it later and know there is a new review and discussion to join. I think you might like the film, it’s not the greatest movie ever, but it is very light and pleasant and well-made.
