Oops, totally forgot to schedule something for this Sunday. So you all have only a little bit of time to watch the movie in advance, if you want to. Or of course you can watch it later and just swing back to the review once you do. Anyway, it doesn’t really matter, because this is a review of a movie I love love love and I am putting it up as a gift for me me me.
Jaan-E-Mann is a very weird movie. Just for example, Anupam Kher has a double role as two identical but unrelated people and one of them is a dwarf for no reason. But at the same time, it has moments of magical realism and surrealism and emotion that just kind of sweep me away. And not in spite of its very petty small scale plot, but because of it, even these small shallow people can be wondrous.
