Upcoming Movies! Bachne Ae Haseeno on Friday, Fan on Sunday, and Viswasam on Thursday!

Oh boy, more movies!!!! I’m probably skipping a movie in theaters this weekend, so that just means more time to write about movies I saw out of theaters.

Bachne Ae Haseeno! Ranbir Kapoor finally gets a hit movie. And meets and romances Deepika (who also gets another hit movie finally), both onscreen and off. No of that is important though, what is important is Kunal Kapoor in a turban. Keep your eye on the prize. Oh, and watch (or rewatch) before my review on Friday. It will probably go up late, so that should give you extra time.

And after the super fun version of Yash Raj films, let’s look at the super dark and weird and risky version! If you have been avoiding Fan because it just seems unpleasant and unwholesome, now is the time to brace yourself and plunge in. Because although it is unpleasant and unwholesome, it is also brilliant in pretty much every way, and like nothing else that has ever been made in any film industry anywhere. Oh, and it’s on youtube and Prime, like all Yash Raj movies. You have until Sunday to watch it, get to it!

And finally, Viswasam! Here is what I know about this movie: 1. It has Ajith with white hair. And…..that’s it, I guess? Oh, also it released recently and is easily available to watch on Prime and YouTube.

  1. On  a complete other note!
Ananya’s USC mess is getting worse, they’re dragging Srk and Aryan into this! It’s almost funny. But why would Srk be paying any cars for the pandays… I mean that just sounds VERY far fetched! I always wondered where Srk and Panday grew so close. Except their daughters being besties.

What I don’t get though is how Karan can let his protégé do such a fatal mistake of apologizing (via DM under her OFFICIAL account) and therefore accepting all the allegations the other girl threw at her?

    • I was just talking about this with a friend, and I landed on “If you hire your lead actress out of high school, you are going to deal with a lot of high school drama”. It’s just soooooooooooooooooooo high school, right? Cliques and rumors and nasty fights where both sides are sure they are right.

    • Makes me retroactively respect Alia more. And Kajol. And Karisma. And Sharmila. All those actresses who managed to go straight from high school to acting without bringing a high school mindset with them.
