Happy Saturday! I am out of town for a wedding, doing family stuff with family, but you all can still talk!
My parents got here before me, in time for the rehearsal dinner event last night, and then my flight landed late last night, they picked me up and drove me back to the funky little hotel where we are sharing a room. I get a wheel in cot, just like when I was a little kid.
But just because I am tucked away in the country doing wedding things doesn’t mean that you all can’t still have fun! Talk talk, about whatever. I will chime in when possible.
Here’s a question to get you all started, wedding themed of course: what is your favorite movie based around a wedding?
Oh boy, I don’t know if I even have an answer for this! There are so many good ones, everything from Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani to Love Breakups Zindagi. Oh! Veere Di Wedding! That’s my answer!

I think Running Shaadi might be my favorite. I think. Although I might have to give honorable mention to HAHK for its full commitment to every slow small detail of the whole wedding process.

Running Shaadi is great! And it gives us all the legalise of the wedding that we don’t usually get.

Monsoon Wedding is a great choice! And a great movie, especially now that you know enough about Indian culture and wedding stuff to appreciate it more.
