I want something cheerful and uplifting, and there is nothing more cheerful and uplifting than a dumb fun movie.
Teri Meri Kahaani
I truly enjoy this film. 3 love stories in one movie, same couple in three different eras, great Sajid-Wajid soundtrack (which is why I am thinking of it), very sexy Shahid, and the modern day romance is so incredibly stupid it is just begging to be made fun of. The only downside is, it’s not available free anywhere. You have to do the ErosNow add on to Prime (booooooo!), or pay the one time rental from googleplay or youtube (what I would recommend).
Street Dancer 3D
Just so amazingly stupid. That can be fun. And the dancing is phenomenal, and there’s Prabhudeva, all sorts of things. Painted on abs, also fun. And it’s on Prime, regular Prime for all.
Or maybe there is something else I am forgetting! Give me suggestions, but try to keep it on similar depth/quality level to Street Dancer 3D. Let’s not overtask our brains or hearts.

I haven’t seen Teri Meri Kahaani, so I’m going with Street Dancer, also because I feel like my snark will be up to full power.
Alternate idea: Dabangg for Sonakshi’s birthday? Idk if it’s available anywhere, and I haven’t seen it, but I’ve been meaning to, just never got around to it.

I was thinking about Dabangg too! It’s Sonakshi, plus Sajid-Wajid. It’s only available for pay, but a valid option to consider.

I enjoyed Teri Meri Kahaani. I know it’s the obscure choice but it really is extremely silly and fun and the songs are great. Whither the fun dancey Shahids of yesteryear?
