Veere Di Wedding! Only available on einthusan! And also, surprisingly short! We won’t be doing an interval or anything like that, just plowing straight through. I am really looking forward to seeing this one with all of you.

At 3pm, I will hit play and start commenting on this post, and you all can join in with your own comments. Yaaaaay!

  1. Soooooooooooooooo many brand partners. Now is when you can start feeling angry about how hard it was for them to get funding for this little movie because no one belives in female lead pictures.

    • Right? Cuts through the romance immediately, it wasn’t the perfect moment or anything, he just wanted to marry her and brought it up now.

  2. So, Kareena was the one with the parents and uncle who wasn’t interested in ever being married, Sonam was the one picking a college based on her boyfriend who she would love forever and ever, Swara was the one who wanted to go to Prague (and had rich parents), and Shiksa was the one whose father was already talking marriage but she was planning to go to college first. Right?

  3. Controversial scene here, but I really like it. Sonam is ready to do everything for the maid, and the humor is in the groom coming in and thinking what is happening with him matters when Sonam is all about the maid just then. And we don’t need a follow up because Sonam said she was taking care of it and we just assume she is.

  4. I didn’t realize that the swear words are censored on Einthusan!!! Grrr. Their potty mouth was half the fun. Plus, it made me feel better about my potty mouth!

  5. This movie does a good job of having the kid just constantly being a thing for Shiksa, I think. It’s not that he only appears when it is plot convenient, it’s that he is only gone when it is plot-necessary, and can be explained.

  6. I’m super miserable. My family promised me time to watch today but instead made time sensitive plans and now I can’t watch. I’m pissed off

  7. Stopmom isn’t terrible, right? And yet I can sympathize with why she would be A Lot for someone.

Also, Dad totally checked out of parenting because it was easier to have the gay uncles pick up the slack, right?

  8. She’s negging herself here, right? Being all “don’t be threatened by me, I am just a simple girl”, right? I’m reading this situation correctly that Sonam has the more impressive credentials?

  9. Actor is playing this well too, he is so calm and confident about it as though there is nothing strange, and she would be the strange one to object to it.
