I really hope a bunch of you can make this one, because I love love love Raabta and have been wanting to show it since the watchalongs started. But even if it is low attendance, I will still be happy watching Raabta all by myself. It’s just that good.
Raabta! It’s on Prime and Einthusan and it is totally delightful. Can’t wait to hear what you all think about it.
At 3pm Chicago time, I will start the comments off down below and then we can all watch and comment together. Fun fun!

More happy happy in love times! Why don’t more movies see how necessary these sections are? Somehow it’s always the song like this that gets cut and it really really shouldn’t.

He’s not great but kind of neutral in A Death in the Gunj. And Made in Heaven he is either the worst person ever who blames everyone else for his problems, or legitimately troubled by everyone else around him.

He is definitely not a “hero” in Made in Heaven. But he great.

Forget the reincarnation, this is a remarkably healthy relationship. Always super honest with each other and talking through their doubts and stuff. Very good.

It is healthy, though perhaps a bit fast. But again, that is my American date for a year before marriage side coming out.

And even in America, I am sure we all know couples who just fell in love right away and were married within 6 months.

Nope. Don’t know any.

Huh! One of our close family friends growing up, they met in college, were living together in 3 months, and married in 6 months. With some couples it just seems to happen like that. Not necessarily because they are reincarnated lovers of the past, just they meet at the right time and place and feel a big connection and just go for it.

Taht scene was so good for showing how much Kriti and SSR are just “together”. His macho posturing with sharing the drink, but more how she kind of eased to stand next to him and stuff. Solid couple, poor Jim on the outside.

I like that this is a really great first date, it’s not a simple thing, this guy could be a great guy for her if she weren’t already in love with someone else. And if he weren’t INSANE.
