Friday WatchAlong RESCHEDULED! Bang Bang Saturday, 10/10, at 7:30am Chicago Time

I am stupidly excited about this. “Stupid” because there is no reason a slight change in the schedule of a virtual viewing should feel like some wild adventure. And yet, it does. Early morning watchalong! I could have pancakes! And on Friday, I could go to the park in the middle of the day!

We are watching Bang Bang, the happiest movie in the history of the world. It’s only available on Einthusan (or on DVD if you are like me and bought it so you could have it forever and ever).

At 7:30am Chicago Time, I will hit “Play” and start the comments, the rest of you can comment along with me. If you arrive late, just figure out how many minutes past 7:30 we are, and that’s where we are in the film. So, if you start at 8:06, start the movie at 36 minutes in. Does that make sense?

This is my second-most-preferred WatchAlong time personally, I always wake up early on Saturdays and feel like I should be doing something but don’t want to leave the house, so if it goes well I guess we could try alternating the schedule a bit once a month or so just to shake things up? Like I said, I am feeling stupidly excited for no real reason.

  1. Woo-hoo! Can’t wait!

This seems to be a complete version (2hrs 34 minutes but movie starts around 2 minutes in) on Youtube:

I might do that as einthusan can get temperamental with me.

    • go for it! Or, of course, my einthusan wisdom is to download the thing in advance.

    • Yaaaaay! Well heck, maybe I should alternate Friday and Saturday if enough people can make super early Saturday.

  2. My spouse it out of town, and I have this plan, when Tu Meri comes on (my 8 year old’s favorite song), I’ll BLAST it, and wake everyone up. But then I’ll have to get them all cereal and might miss some of the movie. Not the chest bit, I don’t want to miss the chest bit. They will have to wait for cereal until after I get to see Hrithik’s chest.

    • I love this plan! I’m still debating about whether I want toast and tea, or pancakes and coffee.
