It’s almost Halloween! I have my traditional costume all set (me, but in Halloween earrings), and of course Albie Dog has his flower outfit. But what about our celebrities? Who should/would they be?
Aamir Khan
The abstract concept of water issues and drought, captured in a very complex costume that he has to explain to everyone at the party
Shahrukh Khan
A black suit and a pair of Vampire fangs that Suhana bought for him.
Karan Johar
Planned to go as a Vampire with full elaborate costume, but then found out Shahrukh was going as that and felt shy and stupid, so made a last minute change to Zombie, with white face make-up and one of his high fashion artistically torn shirts.
Salman Khan
Didn’t pay attention to the invitation, didn’t plan a costume, showed up to see everyone else dressed up and didn’t care, until Kat pulled him aside and asked him to dress up, at which point he went out and forced a costume store to open, then gave the guy a massive amount of money as a thank you, and came back dressed as Superman.
Okay, that’s what I’ve got. What do you think?

I feel like Salman and Govinda would get drunk, fight, and then make up and be two supermen, over the course of one Halloween party.

Kangana would go as Goddess Durga with swords/weapons in her hand…but she isn’t invited to the party so she will stand outside…and waive her sword around while yelling into the void.
Adi Chopra would wear a simple all black outfit and put on a mask of some sort…Halloween parties are the only ones he attends because he can hide his face and no one will recognize him.
Hritikh would go as Krisshhh…not very imaginative and a little narcissistic…but oh well it works!
Kareena would also go as one of her own characters maybe Jab We Met or Asoka..but she would be more matter of fact about it…”why would I dress up as someone else when I can be my fabulous self?”

Kangana and Kareena are ON POINT. I can also see her going as Pooja from K3G and speaking as her throughout the party.

YES! This is perfect. And Kangana’s party actions are basically how I felt about Manikarnika anyway, just her dressing up as a goddess even though no one invited her or wanted her at the party.
Agree on Adi, and even his mask will be super boring, like just a plain white one. He sits in the corner all night observing and no one notices when he leaves.
Hrithik would go as Krrish, but arrive late because he took his boys trick or treating earlier, they were all dressed as Krrish, the neighbors found it kind of stupid but also strangely endearing.
And yes to Kareena!

Sonam would go as a fairy or as a really pretty ghost in all white. Swara would wear something complementary, either the zombie to Sonam’s ghost or the devil to her angel or whatever the evil fairy equivalent is.
Ranbir would go as SOME artist he explains. Or maybe even as a Raj Kapoor character. Ayan would be another character from the movie. Alia wears something resembling a character but smiles too much for an RJ woman. (Honestly, Karan-Arjun would be perfect for them, but they would never.)
Deepika and Ranveer go as 60s/70s people, with Ranveer going all out and Deepika in a headband and flowy shirt.
Sara and Jahnvi show up in something cool, but whatever. (I love them, but OHMYGOD. Show some character! Not just opposing archetypes!)
Saif wears drag and also educates some people on its historical importance during Halloween.

Yes! And they will bring Harsh to play their cute magical pet. Like one of Cinderella’s mice, or Snow White’s dwarves and so on.

Only disagreement, no way Ranbir would dress up. Too much effort and consideration for the party theme for him. He will show up on an old hoodie and jeans, and then explain to everyone who our very selves are a performance, so he is there as “Ranbir” himself. Alia and Ayan will think he is super deep and wise and feel shallow for actually dressing up and like they don’t deserve to be around him. Everyone else at the party will try to avoid talking to him and the host will feel irritated that Ranbir showed up to eat and drink but refuses to participate.

This is so much fun so here are some more ideas:
Abhishek/Aish – Aish will go as Cleopatra…she already had the costume from Ajooba song…and Abhishek will be her manservant waiving a fan behind her…the whole thing was Abhishek’s idea and he will tell everyone in the party how he wanted to treat his wife like the queen that she is…Aish will just smile and wave…
Anushka – will dress up as Amrita Pritam…but no one would get it…they would just assume it’s a character from her next movie…she won’t explain the feminist stance behind her costume
Priyanka – she will wear just any regular sari…but then go around giving a dozen interviews to American journalists about how this “costume” represents her culture…they will all applaud her for being brave
Akshay Kumar – will show up in a military costume to honor the troops. Will go on stage in the middle of the party and give a patriotic speech which will double as a promotion for his upcoming movie.

I was picturing Ranveer in a big, crazy, but ultimately high fashion Willy Wonka costume, and Deepika in an understated, comfy, but appropriately poofy purple dress as Violet Beauregard.

I like your Ranveer/Dips concept. Could also work for Beetlejuice and what’s her name. Really anything with an over the top guy, and a neutral girl.

He is amazing to look at but, after RX100, he made a string of flops, really stinky films (Hippie, 90ML, etc.) where you can see he’s trying but gets no kind of direction. When is he going to learn how to act? I heard he recently costarred in Nani’s Gang Leader as the villain. But the movie isn’t streaming anywhere and he’s given about 30 seconds in the trailer.

Oh, he was great in Gang Leader! If you can get einthusan, I think it is there. He’s the villain, but they gave him a lot to do.
