Am I Abusing Albie Dog By Hugging Him Too Much? (see photo)

As the days get shorter and Christmas stress increases, and my work stress explodes as well (everyone needs stuff before the end of the fiscal year!), poor Albie Dog is being asked to put up with a lot.

Does this photo say “I love physical affection and am happy to receive it”? Or, “I am miserable”? Or, “I am putting up with this patiently and waiting for my next meal”?

I think it says “I am putting up with this patiently”, which means I can hug him as much as I want but not expect him to enjoy it.

Especially since he does the same to me! If I put up with him climbing up on my lap and leaning all the way against me, then he can put up with hug attacks.

(also, yes, I am dressing only in red and green. IT’S DECEMBER!!!!)

  1. Oh, I think he is very okay with being hugged by you but not okay being photographed…

Wearing only red and green! Ha! You just gave me a morning smile 🙂

    • The phone does excite him, because it looks like I am holding a toy he should be grabbing for.

    • I haven’t gotten him anything for Christmas (he gets enough from me!) but I have high hopes for his extended family.

    • And it’s good for him! Children need physical contact even when they make faces! So I will assume the same is true of Albie Dog, I am helping him.
