It’s Tiger’s birthday week! Which means we have to watch one of his 4 fun dumb movies! But not his other movies.
Student of the Year 2
The Lesbianness! The Tiger! The high school!

A Flying Jatt
The superheroness! The Sikhness! The ridiculous plot!

War
The GAYNESS!!!!

Baaghi
The stupid throwback action romance of it!

What’s your vote? And Friday or Saturday?
I lowkey kinda wanna watch Baaghi. Haven’t seen it, kinda want to but I’m super skeptical, and I feel like it’s the kind of movie I can half pay attention to and still get everything out of it.
But my second choice is SOTY2 because I love SOTY1 so much that I’ll just complain the entire time. Even though I am always down to watch War I think we’ve watched it twice.
And I think Saturday is actually better for me, unless the movie we pick is relatively short, then Friday afternoon is fine.

Baaghi is super super silly and harmless, very much a movie you can lowkey watch and make fun of.

Wait wait wait, Margaret, I don’t know if you made your decision yet, but Tiger and Shraddha’s birthdays are literally a day apart so if the theme is celebrating Tiger’s birthday, we can also celebrate Shraddha’s birthday by watching Baaghi. omg.

Ooooo! We watched OK Jaanu last week for Shraddha, but we can TOTALLY celebrate her and Tiger together again this week.

I don’t mind which movie – Flying Jatt is fun. Either day, your afternoon time if possible.

Out of the ones you recommended, I am going to go with Baaghi but I would also recommend Heropanti! Tiger is just so androgynous looking in it! Saturday, as you know, works best for me.

Heropanti is a remake of my favorite movie Parugu and I would be totally annoying watching it, pointing out what AA did better and how they changed the story (one scene in Heropanti is definitely an improvement). The completely different maid relationship as though Heropanti is (kinda rightfully) embarrassed that there IS a school age maid. And if we ever watch Heropanti I would start nagging Margaret to watch Parugu, every week. In fact, I’m probably the reason Margaret didn’t offer that movie as an option.

That is correct. That, plus it’s not that good of a movie.

Looks like Baaghi is the winner!

I’ll watch any of these, although idk about Flying Jatt and also War is great but maybe we should wait to do it again.

Baaghi is my choice, I haven’t seen it yet.

If you watch Baaghi, you should immediately follow it with the 2004 film Varsham. Baaghi is practically a word for word remake – the main difference is that Varsham stars Prabhas. Now, Tiger is all cute and muscly but Prabhas is…..really, really tall. And adorable..

Don’t forget, also Raid (the Korean film, not the Hindi)
