Memorial Day WatchAlong! Dus! Now on Prime! 8am Chicago Time

Happy Memorial Day! Got into a big debate on the blog a while back about whether it is appropriate to say “happy” for memorial day and similar holidays. Whatever, I am ALWAYS happy!

Dus! I could swear it was on Netflix when I checked 2 days ago, but now it isn’t. Very weird. Anyway, hop over to Prime instead! It’s the big stupid action movie with great songs of your DREAMS.

I’ll put up a comment right here when it is time to start, and then we can comment along on this post.

    • There was another London based movie we watched once where he was the best dancer. (I think of it as the feather hat movie). As soon as Zayad started dancing I figured it would be the same in this one.

  1. I vote, there was a business man’s conference in the same cheap hotel where the cast and crew were staying, and they asked them if they would put on baseball hats and pretend to shoot guns. And it was the Greatest Day of Their Lives.

    • Yes to the gay movie! Even in this movie, he has more chemistry with Sanjay and Zayad than Esha! I cannot find the chemistry between Abhishek and Esha but I blame her.

        • I like Zayad and Dia’s chemistry but I also think my opinion is tainted because I know that they are such good friends in real life.

  2. After I move, I’m gonna buy all those fancy kitchen things. My pasta will be in a canister instead of the box it came in. My oil will be in a big urn.

  3. You know, I managed to make friends without having a fight with them, or a fun stand off. Sometimes you can just say “hey, my name is such and such”

    • It is interesting. So often in biographies of people who grew up in the 60s or earlier there is this fighting leads to friendship theme. Not so much today though.

  4. I love Pankuj Kapoor, but even with him doing his “one of the greatest living actors in India” best, I still find this monologue boring. Bad guys be bad, whatevs.
