Happy Saturday! By the time we finished K3G, half the day was over!!! So then I took a nap, and then my parents came over and helped me hang pictures. And then they left, and now I am writing this!
Hanging pictures is HARD! Well, hard if you measure. I like to not measure, I like to just wang nails into the wall and let things happen. And then go “huh, all those photos are ever so slightly out of line with each other”. Anyway, this is my Forever Home, so I am NOT going to just randomly make holes in the wall, I am going to take a long long long long time and make it all PERFECT.
Okay, other things to talk about besides hanging pictures!
Akshay has remixed “Tip Tip”! Is this version sexier? I say, absolutely not, just because old Akshay is okay but young Akshay was beautiful.
It’s the end/start/whatever of daylight savings tomorrow! And I am determined, for once I am going to stay up late enough to watch my clock change! You’d think it happens at midnight or 1am, but nooooooooooooo. 2am jumps back to 1am. It’s REALLY HARD to make it up all night. In honor of which, this song:
Much more exciting, Bunty Aur Babli 2 songs!!! Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!!! Shankar-Ehsaan-Loya, my FAVORITE composing trip too!!!! Anyway, I think this song is super fun and I am very distracted by the ladies with the champagne glass skirts.
And this one, which isn’t as cute as the original “Chup Chup Ke” love song but NOTHING EVER WILL BE!!!! Ranishek FOREVER!!!!

Holy #@$! that young man in the Bunty 2 is hot, and an amazing dancer. Yes Chup Chup is a cuter song and the way they filmed the close ups is adorable. But my eyes are really looking forward to Bunty 2

YES! Did you see Gully Boy? He is the guy who stole Gully Boy from Ranveer, just amazing star power onscreen. This was his next film signed, he got snapped up right after Gully Boy, but then of course the release has been super delayed.

Of course the old version is sexier! Forget Akshay, it was all about Raveena. Katrina is great here but it’s still not a match. I’m glad they kept Alka’s original vocals, it took me some time to realize that Udit re-recorded his part.
I’m actually disappointed with the BB2 soundtrack, there are like 4 songs and none of them are memorable! I had high hopes from SEL (:

I generally enjoy Rohit Shetty. I totally blame this on the Akshay factor. I have more details on the giveaway post if you decide you want to watch it. I like Katrina’s character in it. And if she has stuck to her plan, I would have liked her even more. Minor spoiler: she is estranged from Akshay for a very good reason. But of course everyone around her just feels bad for Akshay and guilts her into going back to him. We all know they are going to be reunited but dialogues leading up to it are insanely frustrating.

It seems to me that Akshay and RS are perfect for each other. RS has made it clear in interviews that he pretty much idolizes cops and wouldn’t mind if they took law into their own hands, that made me never want to watch any of his cop movies.
