Happy Monday! I got through the weekend and things are looking much much brighter! I mean, I had another nightmare last night, but that’s just normal now.
Here is where you get to ask me anything you want from “are you ever going to see a new movie and review it ever EVER again?” to “why is Katrina releasing her wedding photos in this tantalizing day by day fashion?” Just keep swinging back here all week as you think of new questions! I’ll be here!
Now, question for you! Tomorrow is Raj Kapoor’s birthday, what is your favorite Raj Kapoor movie?
You know, I am surprising even myself with this answer, but I think Sangam!!!! He lets the woman have a voice in the typical love triangle story, and he has great songs and bright colors and everything else too.
I posted this on Saturday Small Talk just before this posted.
I just saw this from Gazal Haliwal β the writer of Ek Ladki and Lipstick Under My Burkha, who is also a transwoman and itβs making me hopeful that Chandigarh Kare Ashique will live up to my expectations!

Well, this is making me feel guilty. I have to pick a cleaning person to hire, and I can either hire a transwoman saving money for her surgery, a hardworking immigrant trying to succeed, or just nice people who do a very good job. And now I am thinking I have to do the transwoman even if she doesn’t necessarily do as good a job as the others.

I have struggled with this exact same issue when picking a cleaning person – choose someone who will do a better job or someone who needs the money more.
So I deliberately outsourced the decision. I called someone who I know is very practical-minded and doesn’t get swayed by sob stories and they insisted that I hire the best worker…so problem solved…now I don’t feel guilty because it wasn’t my decision!

What these descriptions tell me is that the people pitching cleaners to you know that youβre a ridiculously good person.

His movies are SAD! But distinctive. That sort of comedy in tears is really unusual. Why were you thinking about him?

I just read his so awaited Marakkar: Lion of the Arabian Sea flopped badly and will be in streaming just 2 weeks after the premiere. It reminded me how bad Hungama 2 was (really it’s a big achievement to make a movie with my crush even I am not able to watch), and that I didn’t like loved-by-everyone Thenmavin Kombath. He definitely isn’t my type of director and I was wondering if you like him.

I appreciate how many gowns/looks we get for one bride! Didn’t like that one? Just wait a day or two. Something for everyone.

Yes! Kat knows what looks good on her and does every single option of it for her wedding! π

Gotta be honest, not a fan of her makeup in these photos. The lipstick color makes her mouth look weird. Idk if she ever got lip fillers, but if she did, it’s noticeable here. But I cry every time I see Vicky kissing her forehead, so it’s all good.

Kat has never been super fashion forward, so I am going to assume that she felt safest and happiest in nice middle of the road outfits/make-up.
