Alia Bhatt, surrounded by books she’s not reading. I’m too old for Instagram, constantly posting posed professional photos of oneself does not seem endearing. I started following Suhana Khan when her brother was arrested and now I’m worried she’s a narcisist without any personality. Hopefully I’m wrong, but when a young woman’s main goal in life is to appear sexy, I get worried.

Well, Suhana’s only like 22, she still has time to age into something more interesting. Or, alternatively, she is just very careful about what parts of her life she reveals on instagram.

Wasn’t Suhana going to be an actress? Shouldn’t she be going to film school, or studyting dance or something? She attended NYU Tisch for a while. What’s up with that? I know she’s not here in New York anymore, hasn’t been for a while.
I used to follow her but I don’t anymore. Same with Harsh who seems all about looking cool and rich. I don’t fault the children of movie folk for taking up their parents’ professions. Some of them have talent, work hard and grow into decent careers like Alia and Sarah, and Ishaan and dozens of others. But far as I can tell, all Suhana wants us to know is that she’s pretty and can party.

The “Oooh la la la” of this song has been stuck in my head for a week. I haven’t yet seen the film, but with Kajol and Prabhu Deva it is most certainly on my watchlist. This is really the movie, which I think of in comparing Atrangi Re to 90s movies in terms of sound – ‘Little Little’ would fit in this movie perfectly.

What’s better than young Kajol, Prabhudeva, Nasser and a dancing doggie? One of the best songs ever, and not a bad film either.

This song is a delight, thank you Kirre 🙂. I love how free and natural young Kajol’s movement is. It’s hard to think of anyone now who’s that uninhibited. Except for Sai! Plus bonus Prabhudeva, amazing.

This is such a fun movie. And Kajol has always felt she is a bad dancer, she probably picked up that idea making this movie! But she is so charismatic I don’t need her to be a female Prabhu Deva. Speaking of charismatic, I was watching this video because I wanted to see more of Dhanush dancing after Atrangi Re, but I couldn’t take my eyes off of Sai!

I share your dreams for Virnushka. This is definitely him stepping back from a high pressure career he was already aging out of so that they can have babies while she pursues her post-ingenue career goals of transforming Hindi film from in front of and behind the camera. Right? Because we say so?

YES! It is absolutely true. Also, I love it that within a year of the birth, Virat is retiring and Anushka is still working! It’s gotta be a stay at home DAd thing. I think. Especially since he had to go be in a cricket match overseas within two weeks of the birth.
