Friday WatchAlong: It’s February! ONLY MOVIES WITH LOVE IN THE TITLE!!!!

Yes! I am creating an arbitrary rule! For the 4 watchalongs of February, ONLY MOVIES WITH LOVE IN THE TITLE!!!

Off the top of my head, here are the ones I remember:

Ishq

Ishq (1997) - IMDb

Prem

Prem (1995) - IMDb

    • Oh! Aashiqui 2 would be a GREAT watchalong pick! It’s so very very dumb.

      • Nahiii!!! I hate that movie so much. It’s up there with Mohabateein as movies that suck! But you can do it, and I’ll just skip that week or join for the middle part of it which I like.

  2. Unrelated suggestion: It is Chinese New Year today, and this year is the Year of the Tiger. Maybe a Tiger Shroff movie? Does Tiger have any movies with love in the title? I can’t think of any. (I can’t do Saturday btw)

    • He’s got Baaghi? It has to be Saturday this week because I have a co-worker coming over on Friday. So we will save your Tiger suggestion for next week!

  3. “Daawat-e-Ishq” (2014) comes to mind as a Valentines-appropriate movie with a “lovely” title, although it always makes me very hungry. I’m afraid to look at my watchlist because there will probably be thirty or forty theoretically eligible movies, LOL.

  4. How about Premam?!?

Also Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gaadha if you want something with Nani since the title means something like “Krishna’s grand love story”

    • I thought about Premam! But I may like it too much to do it as a watchalong.

    • Angie, I watched Prem Aggan based on your recommendation a long time
ago (and because it has the snake dancer from Bride and Prejudice as the heroine). It’s PERFECT for a watchalong! So dumb. So fun!
