I know I know, everyone wants to do Hum Hain Rahe Pyar Ke. Which has, irrationally, made me NOT want to pick it. This is the same reason I never sew with a thimble. Because my mother tells me to sew with a thimble. Anyway, there are other Aamir Options!

The Indian remake of An Affair to Remember! It’s gorgeous young Manisha, it’s fun Rani cameo, it’s Aamir being all soulful, and it has ORPHANS! Oh, and it’s on Netflix and youtube.
Lagaan
It’s, you know, Lagaan! Cricket, Rahman songs, crazy history, Aamir in sandals with lifts built in. Also, to be fair, Aamir at possibly PEAK Aamir attractiveness. Naughty, eyebrows, earring, all the good stuff. Also on Netflix.
Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Na
Aamir isn’t onscreen, but he did produce it. And the whole thing feels like a throwback to the nice fun sweet early Aamir 90s movies. Plus, Aamir’s nephew Imraan is (possibly) even more attractive as a young man than Aamir was. Also on Netflix.
Oh, and Friday or Saturday? Which is better? Unless you pick Lagaan, in which case it HAS to be Saturday because I don’t have time on Friday for all of that.
