Happy Autumnal Equinox! For once it is truly the start of fall in Chicago, it was 80 degrees yesterday and dropped to 60 today, and looks generally gorgeous outside. Makes me excited about staying in and watching a cozy movie this weekend.
Miss Braganza said she would be in America for 2 weeks and could MAYBE make a watchalong! And then last week I picked a bad time, so this week Miss Braganza gets to pick! Time and movie, if there is any time and movie that would work for her.
Otherwise, Dangerous Ishq! I forgot this was on my watchalong possibility list, it looks ridiculous and fun, it has Kareena Kapoor, and someone (Angie maybe?) said it was surprisingly enjoyable.

Oh, thanks for thinking of me! Unfortunately it’s the day of a big family get together so I won’t be able to make it this time. Enjoy Dangerous Ishq,

Yeah, Sunday won’t work, unfortunately, because I’m going back to Japan. Thanks for trying, though!

I can make Saturday morning if we start fairly early–have to be in Boston at 1:00.

Yes, it was me.
The movie is crazy. It has not one or two but three (or four I’m not sure anymore) reincarnations. Isn’t it fantastic?
One critic said: “Karisma looks unbelievably trim for a ‘do-bachchon-ki-amma’, but that doesn’t stop her from sliding all the way back into her familiar 90s style acting, where everything was over the top, from arch expressions to clothes to make-up.” I don’t know, but what those critics call flaws for me is the reason to watch.
