Saturday WatchAlong: Ek Villain 2! For Angie’s Birthday! 8am Chicago Time

Happy Saturday! I have my cold coffee and my dog and I am ready to watch this terrible thing!

Ek Villain 2

It’s on Netflix! and it’s silly and romantic and thriller-y and the most available pick I could find for Angie’s celebration.

At 8am Chicago time, I will put up an “And PLAY” comment and we will go from there!

  2. Ugh, music festivals are the worst. Chicago’s having this whole thing right now where the neighborhoods are rising up and objecting to music festivals taking over their local parks.

    • Yaaaaaay! Arjun is a bad rich boy who has been disowned from his family. He is picking up the heroine and promising to manage her singing career like a “villain”. He already pretended to attack a rival singer to help her get the headline spot.

      • Thank you! I tried to watch this movie when it first came to Netflix and think I only got through the first 15-20 minutes. I don’t remember this song so I must have stopped right before this. Perfect timing.

  3. When do you think she’ll stop performing in shorts? Will it be a sign of her emotional growth when she starts dressing like a 34 year old grown-up?

    • honestly during all those festival shots of her in shorts and high heels I was thinking she would be so much sexier barefoot. Clearly the costumer disagrees with me.

  4. What he is doing to this poor kiran with a Q woman is really mean. Really mean. And they’re cheating, you can be successful with out terrorizing someone. So it’s okay that she is killed in the first scene.

  5. I have a high tolerance for bad acting if I find the actor charming but Tara Sutaria is where all charm and acting goes to die!

  6. They should both just stab eachother here and put a physical reality to the emotional pain they will cause eachother and world.

    • I have the say Arjun’s character is really interesting. I enjoy the complexities of the spoiled brat that you want to “win”. The known jerk that you want to turn good, but then kinda don’t.

    • I remember something about Rekha having to work to support her family, I didn’t know she was a famous person’s illegitimate child.

    • I have a bit of sympathy, but what she was doing to that other woman was terrible, so it is like okay, here is a reason why you are so screwed up, but you are still screwed up.
