Jawan Extended Cut is On Netflix! I Can’t See the Difference, But Just Excited to Have it Available!

What a lovely birthday present to us! Do you think he timed the release so the Netflix drop would be on his birthday? Wouldn’t put it past him.

It says “extended cut”, so I just fastforwarded through the whole thing and I didn’t notice anything super different. I could have skipped over a scene without realizing, but my GUESS is that it’s just extended fight scenes and stuff, nothing super different.

Anyway, it’s there! Genevieve can finally watch it! And also anyone else who missed it in theaters! But it might have just been Genevieve! Because it was playing EVERYWHERE!!!!

  12. GASP! I may have to stay up late watching that tonight! ANd the unfortunate thing is that I was up last night for two hours, and saw his midnight greeting. I could have been watching Jawan!!!!

  13. I watched it twice today. It’s hard to see it all the at through at home without interruption. I have a question. How did his dad find him? He and these other old guys just seem to just come out of nowhere and he doesn’t even know him or have a memory of him. What am I missing?

    • Hmmm. I have 3 possibilities: 1. Juju figured out who vikram Rathore REALLY was, which means he also could have seen what happened to Deepika and learned her son is now warden of the jail and so on and so forth. 2. There’s a woman who pops in to the secret hide out to tell them that there’s a fight in the jail, maybe that nameless woman filled in all the gaps for them. 3. Once they knew who Azad was, they could have just asked Kaveri Amma who apparently knew everything all along and she would have told them where to find him.

      As for the specific rescue scene, I’ll go with them knowing where his honeymoon was, and then following the trail from the honeymoon cottage to the kidnap torture room. And then the girls were already there and could show them the secret hide out etc.

  14. Wow – I could see this movie over and over and over. So over the top. Shah Rukh is so beautiful. So many great roles for women. Amazing the lack of chemistry between young Shah Rukh and his wife though. Perhaps Depika’s presense in film highlights it more.

    But the movie was so intense. I had to pause half way through so that my heart would stop beating. And now I’m watching it again in Telugu.
