What a strange day! For one thing, it’s over 80 degrees in Chicago, but just today and tomorrow. I hate those random funky weather days, it makes everything feel just slightly off, like minor notes in music. For another. my plans for today changed last minute about 3 times and I HATE when plans change last minute. So now I am trying to be all caaaaaaaaaalm and fooooooooooooocused and do something nice with SRK.

My person top 10, ranked. Feel free to disagree! I recommend this as a very soothing happy focusing sort of task:

Daddy SRK: Jawan: Here’s my thinking. First, real SRK is obviously sexiest SRK and this is the closest we have to the current Real SRK. Second, his character is so wonderfully self-sufficient and calm and that’s sexy.

Harry: Jab Harry Met Sejal: His whole character is about his unhealthy relationship to sex and finding a way back to it as something fun and natural instead of “bad”. So, obviously, he just screams SEX the whole time he is on screen.

Old Samar: Jab Tak Hain Jaan: This is like the first draft of Daddy SRK. He’s mature, he’s got a beard, and he is in total control of his emotions.

Don: Don 1: Bad boys are sexy, and his hair and costumes are better in 1 than in 2

Kabir: Chak De India: Good boys are also sexy! When they are smart and determined and focused.

Aman: Kal Ho Na Ho: So sweet, so emotional, but also so incredibly empathetic and sacrificing.

Arun: One 2 Ka 4: the suspenders shouldn’t work, but somehow they do

Pathan: Pathan: Not in every scene, some of that hair and costume was just no good. But in many scenes, it worked!

Rahul: Kuch Kuch Hota Hai; sometimes a flirt is all you want

Rahul: Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham: flirt, but even better, fuddy duddy dedicated husband!
