As almost always, my sister did a Shahrukh themed problem set for her math class in honor of his birthday.  And now I will share it with you, to give you all painful math class flashbacks, and make you wish you were in her class.

This is also to make my poor sister feel better, because she showed her class “Chaiyya Chaiyya” as part of her lecture and NO ONE RESPONDED!  They sat there like lumps!  Some of them even fell asleep!!!!!  To be fair, it is a 8am math class and it was the day after Halloween, but STILL!!!!  I promised her I would share the lesson with my blog people and they would be much more enthusiastic.

• Let’s do matrix algebra with Shah Rukh Khan! Shah Rukh Khan has been in lots    of movies and lots of songs. My favorites are “Chaiyya Chaiyya,” “Yeh Tara Woh Tara,” “Pretty Woman,” and “Raula” [see the class Blackboard site for links]. To keep the important details of these songs straight, we can use a matrix!
  • There are three important aspects of a song: the music, the dancing, and the costumes. Rate each song in each of these three categories on a scale of 0 to 5, with 0 being the worst and 5 being the best
