I love this movie. You don’t have to, but I really really do. It’s real people playing at the usual filmi romance, and discovering their own version of it along the way. And my review will be reposted next Monday, 11/19.
Preity at her peppiest, Abhishek at his coolest, Bobby Deol at his curliest, and Lara Dutta at her funniest. Plus Amitabh at his wackiest. And the whole thing takes place in a version of England that really feels like the part of England where the desis live, not the big mansions and ridiculous helicopters, but Southhall with the little shops and rooms for rent. I just love this movie and it makes me happy every time I watch it. You should try it! Maybe it will make you happy too!

nothing on your thoughts on the kedarnath trailer today? do you find any parallels to sara and jhanvi’s debut as to the type of character and the religion/caste focus of the films? i get it might be too soon to evaluate kedarnath but just as a first thoughts kinda thing
