Did you know the Wright Brothers taught Bob Cummings to fly? You probably neither knew nor cared about that, but I find it FASCINATING!!! Bob Cummings! Who knew?
Next obvious flying song example, from Bahubali 2 of course.
“Bas Main Hoon” from Kyun! Ho Gaya Na, which always feels like “hey, we’re dating, what can we con the producer into paying for?”
Speaking of romantic flying, there’s also Akshay and Bobby together in their tiny tiny airplane cockpit in Dostana.
Another version of romance, the deleted song from Veer-Zaara. Little paper plane!
Youtube must understand what I am trying to do, they immediately suggested “Gerua”. Big broken plane!
Let us not forget the original aviators, Birds! “Kabootar Ja Ja”
Greatest Airplane Song EVER. From Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha.

Oh I love this post! Relatedly, have you read Code Name Verity? It is such an amazing young adult novel. Warning: it is a bit sad but I think you would really enjoy it. It was wonderful heroines and fantastic female relationships. Oh and it is written by a pilot, about a pilot spy, and has lots of aviation in it.

Glad you liked it! It’s a pretty silly post but I wanted to put something up if I could.
Haven’t read that book, WWII usually makes me too emotional to handle it, but I love the idea of female friendships being highlighted.
