Now that we have a new hit Jodi, we need to use it over and over again. At least, that’s how I feel. And I have ideas!!!! In case ideas are needed.
Tiger is an MMA fighter, Hrithik is His Coach
Hrithik’s best friend (or lover?) is Suniel Shetty, they are both young fighters on their way up, but then Suniel betrays him and wins their championship match by exploiting a secret physical weakness. Hrithik is crippled and bitter and no longer believes in friendship (or love?).
Flashforward, Tiger is a young happy carefree college student who does fights for fun. Hrithik sees a video of him on youtube and shows up on his doorstep and tries to convince him to quite school and train full time. There’s a long period of stalking and wooing him to convince him, including talking to his parents and convincing them that he (Hrithik) can take good care of their son if they will let Tiger go with their blessing. They meet in secret while waiting for Tiger’s parents to relent, but they finally give their blessing and Tiger and Hrithik happily go off together to a remote training camp.
Big build up to the final fight, Suniel is also a coach now and training his own fighter Vidyut Jamwal. There’s lots of tension when the 4 of them meet, Tiger is jealous of Suniel and protective of Hrithik, Vidyut is flaunting himself in front of them, and so on. Finally after a lot of angst (including a visit together to the temple to get blessings), Tiger wins and runs away from all the celebration and excitement to find Hrithik and get his blessing. Hrithik touches his head in blessing, and then they sobbingly embrace.

Tiger is a Young Cop, Hrithik is His Mentor
Tiger is a fresh and young and eager college student who is convinced to try out for the Indian police force after his brother is killed by criminals. He says good-bye to his college girlfriend and enters the academy. He is about to drop out because it is too hard when there is a guest lecture from Hrithik, Hero Cop and it inspires him to stay the course. He struggles through his first posting, it is boring and full of petty corruption. But then Hrithik visits the post and notices Tiger when they end up fighting back to back against a horde of gangsters who have followed Hrithik. Hrithik asks Tiger to come with him, back to the city, and join his task force.
Tiger goes through his first investigation, sees his first dead body, is in his first shoot out, all with Hrithik’s encouragement and support. He gets shot and Hrithik carries him to safety and then waits by his hospital bed until he wakes up. Towards the end of the film, the Bad Guys kidnap Hrithik and Tiger is inconsolable and maddened. He figures out where Hrithik is held and goes on a berserker rampage to save him, finally finding his shirtless tortured body and carrying him out. His girlfriend reappears at this point to tell him she finally has permission from her father to marry him, thanks to the fame he gained in his mission, but Tiger barely notices her, instead saying he cannot think of marriage or anything else until Hrithik is better. Tiger fasts and prays and finally Hrithik’s eyes open and he says Tiger’s name. HAPPY ENDING, Tiger gets married with Hrithik by his side.

Tiger is a Cop, Hrithik is a Gangster
Tiger arrives at his first police posting, with the blessings of his mother, and seems innocent and naive. But then surprises everyone with his first big action sequence, turns out the fresh face hides a passion for justice and amazing fighting abilities. And he has come to clean up this town, starting with the top gangster in the area, Hrithik.
Hrithik was raised in the chawls, turned to crime to feed his family. Now he cares for and protects his community while also running a protection racket, smuggling, and other minor organized crimes. Tiger and he meet in a series of tense close-talking fraught moments. Tiger also falls in love with Hrithik’s younger sister who is going to college. After spending the first half of the film at odds, a new Big Bad moves into the area and suddenly Tiger and Hrithik are working together against the Big Bad. They spend all night on stake outs together, Hrithik jokes about wanting to test his body and make sure he is good enough for Hrithik’s sister, they save each other’s lives. At one point in the middle of a gunfight Hrithik is shot and Tiger cleans his wound and bandages it.
Finally the Big Bad is gone, and Hrithik and Tiger return to joking adversaries, but Hrithik also gets Tiger married off to his sister. HAPPY ENDING.
Which would you make?
Any additional story ideas?
Any changes to my stories?
Showgirls but with men and Indian. You know it is right.

At that point, wouldn’t they just be playing themselves? Hrithik used to be the prettiest boy in the film industry, but now hot young Tiger is after his crown, dance off dance off, friendship as they both fight the corrupt producer who put them against each other, then watch the sunset and vow to be friends forever and ever and ever.

“At that point, wouldn’t they just be playing themselves?”
Yes.
I need to see them claw each other’s eyes out and have sassy dance offs, but with eternal love and friendship. The WORLD needs this.

This also goes with my theory that the Kangana insanity could, theoretically, have killed any ability for Hrithik trust a woman enough to fall in love with her, thus swinging him towards men, and opening the door for he and Tiger to realize their true passion for each other.
Also, have you seen this video that Claudia sent the link to? Hrithik passionately working out in order to defeat Tiger?

Poor old man. That was hilarious and amazing and basically already Showgirls.

I liked the little flashes of Tiger to show his motivation.

I don’t want to know anything about real life Hrithik. I only want to see him be screamingly sexy on screen. I fear learning something that will kill my enjoyment forever.

Well, he’s real real dumb. But for me at least, that has no effect on the particular passion I feel for onscreen Hrithik. I mean he’s generally real real dumb onscreen too and it never bothers me.

BTW your ones are great too, especially the fighter one. The cop/gangster one I want for Govinda/Tiger, although maybe that should be two gangsters.

I don’t think Tiger can pull off a gangster. He could pull off a boring clean living cop, but not a gangster.

True. Better keep it to cop/gangster then.

They should totally make a remake of Zoolander…again like Showgirls they can just play themselves…show off their bodies in silly outfits…dance…have runway walk-offs. I am certain that Hritikh’s “blue steel” look can stop a bullet (heck a smoldering Hritikh face can stop a train!)
Oh, and of course Kangana will play the crazy Will Farrell villain with the weird hair and all…she can also just play herself…

I will agree to Zoolander only if Hrithik plays a combination of Owen Wilson and Christine Taylor. Rival supermodel turned investigator who reaches out to Tiger and they work together to solve the mystery.
Oh oh! Instead of setting it in the modeling world, can we do the same idea of a flipped gender world but in the Hindi film industry? Tiger and Hrithik are the two pretty boys brought in for good “luck” and to help the biggest stars in the industry Rani, Aishwarya, Kajol, Madhuri, Juhi look young as they continually play college girls growing up and rebelling against their mothers. Hrithik is getting older and people are saying all he ever had was his looks and now his heroines will need someone younger. But in the final dance off, Hrithik proves he can still be sexy and appealing just like Tiger. And Kangana can play herself, the villain.

Oooh that’s great. Now we have legit excuses to put them in skimpy clothes (i.e. speedos) and make them dance!!

Big tabloid drama about Hrithik finally doing a “Swimsuit scene” out of desperation late in his career after swearing he never would (in the style of all the stupid “OMG, this actress has a bikini scene for the first time in her next movie!” coverage).
