Important questions!
If Mannat suddenly runs out of closet space and Gauri makes Shahrukh get rid of all but one of his tuxedos, which should he keep?
Call me crazy, I like the double breasted (which may mean it is no longer a tuxedo, whatever, it feels like one).
If Mannat has almost enough closet space but not quite and Gauri makes Shahrukh get rid of only ONE of his tuxedos, which should he trash?
I know you think I am going to say the Royal Visit white one, but no! I vote the youthful one that doesn’t fit right.

Locker pictures: normally I’d go with 23 too, but 20 is winking at me today

3 also has that mix and match advantage, he can wear it with a cummerbund instead of a vest, with a tie or a bow tie, and generally turn it into a different suit. I suppose he could also wear it with jeans if he wanted to, but that would be a terrible idea.

20 is cute, and a great example of his “I’m being sexy because I know I am smart enough that I can be sexy without being dumb” attitude. I’m not saying it right, but you know how some people do the “sexy” shots with either too much sincerity like they think being sexy is the most important thing, or not enough like they are looking down on it. Shahrukh does it with just the right amount of seriousness.

20 is my favorite which is surprising because I can’t usually get my eyes off any where he has facial hair. I also like the fully black tux at no.19. Has a prince of darkness vibe to it.
I don’t like double breasted jackets or ones that are too fancy and fussy looking. Like no. 6 which is too much with those leather strips or no. 18 – I never want to see any velvet. Velvet and double-breasted together is even worse.

Aww, I like velvet and double breasted! Velvet looks all soft to stroke, and double breasted makes his shoulders and pecs look good. Neither of which is really about the look/fit of the suit itself, more about my reaction to it.

If he can keep one, I say #10. Classic. If he has to give up one, toss up between 9 (I don’t like the stripes in addition to the extra shiny lapel) and 12 where he looks like he’s wearing Dad’s old tux from his prom.

Yeah, #12 has to go. Although it would be cute for Aryan to borrow it. So maybe #9 instead.

Really like the touch of purple in 4 and 17. That’s all the color you need with a tuxedo.
We’ve spoken about white tuxedos before. I covered the screen and quickly scrolled past, but then my eyes were assaulted by the red tuxedo.
I am also putting 20 in my locker! Perfect “you were just my guest at an awards show and now we’re home having a brandy” vibe.
Also, off topic but I really like his facial hair in 11.

Interesting! I hadn’t thought 4 and 17 were the same. But that makes way more sense than him having 23 unique tuxedos.

I would keep #10 – looks a very useful wear-anywhere tux.
Ditch #18 – that soft fabric means you lose the structure and firm body look that makes a tux so dashing.
The locker tux is #20 and #23, which I think are the same garment in different stages of undress…. which also explains why they should be in the locker…..

#10 does have an amazing fit. And looks comfortable, in the way a well-fitted suit is.
