Vampire one already went up, now another truly wonderful TGIF. Is this the best one?
Sweet

Sour

Salty

Of course there’s also literally salty, saltwater

Gifable!

Bitter

Pungent

Astringent

Astringent is also cleansing, yes?

So, which is your favorite flavor? Or, put it another way, which flavor makes him unique to you? I think I like the astringent. That strong cleansing almost painful honesty, that’s what makes him a little different from the others.
Which is your least favorite flavor? Or the least unique? I think bitter is what bothers me the most. Partly because it is unpleasant to hear, partly because when he gets bitter is when I know he is really unhappy.
What flavor would you add to these six? I would add “chocolatey”. Which is a little bitter, but smoother on the way down.
What photo/quote did I miss that you would like to add? oh oh! An excuse to post this video for “sweet”.
In SRK as in snacks, I like a mixture of salty and sweet. Like salty cashews and dark chocolate…so the combo of him salty (thatβs a great quote about Karan) and sweet (he is so so cute in the pic w Farah) would be my taste. I also like his astringent honesty. Pungent is just hilarious to me.
I have a few nice pics to share – gotta go be mama and Iβll be back!

Going to go Japanese and suggest umami as another flavor. Umami is actually the flavor of MSG, sort of salty but with more complexity and depth. So, I canβt think of a specific image, but maybe something from Dear Zindagi where he is sexy and fun with notes of sadness and regret.

Oh, see, I was thinking of the second! Not much going on on the surface, but a deep undercurrent.

I also would go with umami…then sweet.
For my taste, ShahRukh was enjoyably umami in Zero.

Ooo, yes! That works! A little salty, and yet addictive. I don’t like the movie, but his character was really interesting.

Kept meaning to add pics but I thought it was rude for me to be searching for and posting pics on date night. I could be overthinking it.

Truly, looking at Shahrukh photos is a form of cheating on your significant other.

This is my favorite of the TGIF posts this week. My favorite flavor with Shah Rukh is sweet, but it’s really the combinations that are wonderful. Here’s a Rex Stout/Nero Wolfe quote that sums it up:
βChili is one of the great peasant foods. It is one of the few contributions America has made to world cuisine. Eaten with corn bread, sweet onion, sour cream, it contains all five of the elements deemed essential by the sages of the Orient: sweet, sour, salty, pungent, and bitter.β
Works for a good curry or goulash as well. π

I’m trying to think of a Shahrukh multirole film that encapsulates all of them, and I can’t! It feels like there should be something but the closest I can come in duplicate, splitting all flavors down the middle.
