Hello all! Happy Shahrukh’s birthday, again! I have been celebrating by having a life (I decided that is what he would want me to do), thus have not been posting or responding to comments. But I am back, with a little placeholder post of a few things that are fun and happening for the holiday.
First, most importantly, my cake! Usually I make it the day before so it cools over night, than frost it in the morning (or late at night). But since today is a Saturday, I made it first thing this morning and it has been cooling all day. I still haven’t decorated, but check out my lovely canvas! (I went with Devil’s Food cake mix, for obvious reasons).
As for the man himself, a low key day for him this year. The last two years, he has had a press conference/party and then helicoptered to their weekend beach place for a relaxing get together of old friends. This year (so far as I can tell) they aren’t even doing that. Shahrukh went out at midnight to great the faithful all night crowd.

And finally he hosted an event for his fans at a nearby auditorium, talked to them a bit, interacted.
And he put out two tweets, first the usual thank you to the fan and a video from his perspective:
And a special thank you for a really remarkable new tribute, the Burj Khalifa in Dubai is lit up for him:
And one final very sweet thing that Claudia shared. Two women came all the way from Russia for the birthday (you can see them in the end of some of the crowd videos, an irritating person is asking them why they are crying). Anyway, they left their hotel to go to the street celebration and the auditorium, and when they returned to the hotel, this is what they found. Shahrukh inspires such love in the world, love from his fans, and love to his fans!

The Taj Lands End staff is incredible. My personal assistant changed my room so I overlooked Mannat while I stayed there. There are many SRK fans on staff there.
