Blegh, weird sort of upsy-downsy day. Nothing really wrong-wrong, just rumpled feeling, you know? So I am going to medicate myself with non-rumply things.
I work in tech support/customer service, and I have been with the company almost ten years (OMG that’s CRAZY!!!). So I am at the point where I never EVER make mistakes. And last night I did! I told somebody something wrong and messed up their program! Blech! I’m not used to being wrong any more, I don’t know how to handle it.
In other rumply news, I just found out that Farhan’s rock band is called “FarhanLIVE” and his first album of songs was called “Echoes” and this makes me so irrationally angry. It is angry-making, right? It’s not just me?
And it’s overcast today, and my back stairs are iced up, and I need to buy a new charger for my phone, and blah blah blah. Just a rumply day. But mostly that Farhan named his album “Echoes”. I think Zoya needs to go old school big sister on him and sit on him and pull his hipster ponytail until he stops being horrible.
Anyway, things to make me feel unrumpled!
Taal, an almost forgotten movie, still has the all time most soothing song that I have ever heard in my life. If you want to take a 3 minute meditation break at work, I recommend it.
Sometimes what I really need to be unrumpled is cathartic violence. If you are like me, I recommend the Chak De McDonald’s scene.
