Sridevi and Sanjay Dutt in a Mahesh Bhatt movie, so it’s a Sridevi birthday pick and for Sadak 2. Sridevi is a singer who is tricked by her boyfriend into smuggling drugs and ends up thrown in jail. Sanjay is her fan/stalker who dedicates himself to getting her out. Women in prison drama, ridiculous melodrama, and Sridevi and Sanjay. But it’s also a bit 90s.

Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Na

Sweet sweet love story, after college is over a group of friends doodles around and tries to figure out next steps, while the boy-girl best friends at the center of the group slowly fight their way to realizing they are in love and not just friends. Great songs, great Naseeruddin Shah cameo, totally charming central couple.

Saaho! A big dumb movie basically designed for a snarky watchalong. Crazy costumes, crazy stunts, infuriating heroine, plot that is impossible.
