First, most importantly, my new Halloween earrings!

Okay, now movie stuff! At 7:30am, I will post a “And PLAY” comment and then we start commenting along right here below this post.

  1. Anyone else having a freak out because the KKHH music is over the Dharma logo but we are WATCHING KKHH??? Like in the 1950s Ten Commandments movie when they celebrate Passover during Passover?

    • Oh yeah! The movies set the fashions. Sometimes a hit movie would get everyone imitating it. Until some other movie changed things up again.

    • And this was happening in real life! Gauri gave birth right before this movie, almost died, and only did it because Shahrukh wanted a baby more than she did. DANG Shahrukh! Feel guilty!

  2. My college friends, who would have been around Little Anjali’s age when the film first came out, LOVED Little Anjali. She is exactly what you want to be when you are a little girl.

  3. Little Anjali is an impediment to my kids liking this movie. As soon as she can on the one was like “oh her, she’s weird”. I remember being super annoyed by her the first time but she’s grown on me.

  4. This movie has a massive problem with exposition. I think that’s the word. I know this is Karan’s first movie, but this comes up later too, and I can’t unnotice it.

  5. WHY WOULDN’T THE SCHOOL HAVE ANTICIPATED THIS????? When I taught Sunday School, we never used “mom” and “dad” options, always just “parent” to cover our bases.

  6. With all the basketball I would have thought SRK would become a better player. But maybe they filmed the camp scenes first, where he is most dreadful.
