Because of my Dad’s birthday, I shifted my work schedule this week, so I can’t do Friday afternoon. No matter! We can do the alternative Saturday morning time. But what to watch????
It’s Zeenat Aman’s birthday week! Shall we watch Manoranjan? In which she plays a happy singing prostitute?
It’s Thanksgiving week, and Dear Zindagi always feels really Thanksgiving-y to me because they released it a day early in America just for our Thanksgiving schedule. Also, Aditya Roy Kapur!
Finally, OK Jaanu! I haven’t seen this one myself, but it’s a remake of OK Kanmani which is great. And it has ARK being cute, so that’s great. And the soundtrack is AMAZING. If we want to do a cute rom-com, this is the best option.
Or, something else! Give me ideas!
Saturday is our last soccer game day of the season, otherwise I would vote for OK Jaanu. I’ve been in OK Kanmani withdrawal since they took it off the US streaming platforms.

Well, if we go with OK Jaanu, we can report back if it is a good OK Kanamni substitute or not.

I feel like OK Jaanu won’t be as fun as it looks, but it does look fun. I never finished Manoranjan, because it bored me. Although I don’t know if I can be there on Saturday, sooo.

so this is useless to me!!!! Except I guess you are anti-Manoranjan

I’m voting for Dear Zindagi. Ok Jaanu is my second choice. While we are most likely heading out camping Sat. We wouldn’t leave by 5:30 AM my time, so I think it is safe to say I can attend.

I am voting against Ok Jaanu only because I love that movie and I can only join for an hour on Saturday. I have to then take the dog for his training class. I am going with 1. Manoranjan and 2. Dear Zindagi.

I vote for Dear Zindagi because I’ve been convinced to watch it by your posts about it!!
And also I can do either Saturday or Friday this week if for some reason you need to change it to Friday. (Oregon is on lockdown so I’m WFH on Friday this week!)

I’m very tempted but not sure either. It is a not ridiculous but slightly late night for me. I had a slight stomach bug this past weekend which caused me to sleep a ton and I feel amaaaaaazing. Like, spring in my step, twinkle in my eye, although I’m still working all the time. So part of me wants to tuck in early Saturday. But, I have a three day weekend, so if I stayed up it wouldn’t be too ruinous.
Similarly unhelpful, but if I do watch I’d watch any of these, but I feel least enthusiastic about OK Jaanu.

Why not? Dear Zindagi will make me happy and then I’ll have two days to recover. I’m in unless I accidentally fall asleep or something.
