Last week was Nani’s birthday and he released the teaser of his upcoming movie Tuck Jagadish (it’s the one with “Nani is prepared for the wedding like a bride” poster)
Also the poster of his another movie Shyam Singha Roy was shown. I like the vintage look a lot and I’m hapy Sai Pallavi will be in this film. I liked them both in MCA. I only hope the script will be better this time.

Another Telugu movie alert – Jathi Ratnalu with Naveen Polisetti, Rahul Ramakrishna and Priyadarshi. The female lead is a new actor but has featured in short films. I saw Parineeti’s Girl on the Train on Netflix….it is hilariously awful!! Feels like you are watching a school play…do watch it if you want a laugh…I still think about some of the scenes and giggle..

Here’s my other question. Could we have a discussion post or will you review The Big Day? Someone mentioned it (was it you, Shreyans?) and it is a light fluffy meringue, but I found myself having opinions about things like clothes.
(Also surprised myself by pondering the moral argument of Master, because on the one hand it’s very good guy vs. very bad guy but on the other SPOILER the ending is basically good guy Vijay taking bad guy Vijay’s place as the leader of the gang, in prison END SPOILER. But I guess I’ll take those thoughts over to the Master post.)

Naga Chaitanya is a 3rd generation actor, and some people here (okay, many) think he is fairly talentless and uninteresting on screen. I think he is cute! But that is just me.

Is that style of Telugu song promo normal? Release the whole song/lyric video, but chop up the video so much so that it’s not even a real video? I’m curious because the song is so sweet and charming, and has been stuck in my head pretty much since it came out, but I can’t watch the video because it ANGERS ME SO MUCH how much they chopped up Sai’s dancing. It looks like mind blowing choreography and performance and I want to see the whole thing right now, and I feel deprived.

Yes! It IS normal!!!! The Telugu/Tamil system is to release little bits of the images in order to force you to see the movie. And then a few weeks after the movie comes out, they put the full version up on youtube.
