A friend of mine became a nun because she ” fell in love” with Jesus and wanted to marry him. She left the convent years later because “He wasn’t a good husband”.
I often wonder about both those statements.

I think that ALL THE TIME!!! Not about Jesus necessarily, but people like Jesus. If you are a sacrificing perfect saintly leader of a movement, you just aren’t home to take out the trash a lot.
