Thank you Angie! You are doing a better job keeping up with stuff than I am right now! And I watched this video and now I need y’all to help me understand it.

Akshay did a big BIG thing about releasing a music video. Like there’s posters and teasers and everything! And then the video came out, and I just find it confusing.

If I am following this correctly, he is a doctor, recognizes the name of the accident case, takes over her care, because it is his ex. And then he meets her husband and she meets his wife.

But I have SO MANY QUESTIONS!!! First, are they supposed to be the same age? Setting aside the flashback, in the present day he is Respected Doctor with grey in his temples, and she looks exactly the same as before. Did she just not age while he got all doctor-y and mature? Or did medical school age him 20 years?

Second, how did he go from a bad boy earrings village guy to a smooth urban doctor? For a while I thought it might even be a reincarnation thing, because the two characters just seem to be SO different.

Third, they were in love and blah blah, and then he gave her up BECAUSE HER FATHER TOOK OFF HIS TURBAN??? And this is our HERO???

Fourth, was it an accident or was it suicide? Because her arms and stuff look like suicide so I’m not sure.

Fifth, her husband/his wife never asked what was up with the necklace love token they both always wore?

Sixth, the POOR SPOUSES!!!! Sheesh! I don’t want my husband to see me just as “wife” who calls him on the phone, nor do I want my wife to see me as some nice guy who she is settling for but is boring.

What I’m saying is, I don’t like it.
