This reminds me of the scene from Amar Akbar Anthony, where his blind mom wonders if that’s Amitabh’s voice and he says “Yes, of course it is. Who else could have such a manly voice?” And he’s right!!

So how does this work? He can only answer some specific pre-recorded things, not things like weather or traffic conditions, right?

I think Alexa is always a voice actor? So there must be a script around for every phrase that could occur, they just have to have Amitabh record it like any other voice actor. I had a voice actor as a co-worker briefly, so I got to see behind the scenes a bit. She was doing stuff for some app, and she just had this massive list of words and phrases she had to record.
