Happy Friday! And Happy Shabana day! I am very nervous about this movie because I haven’t seen it before and what if it is SAD??? But even if it is sad, it still has Shashi, so that is HAPPY.
Fakira! It’s on Prime for a small rental fee, youtube with ads, and einthusan! Pick your poison, I will be on Prime myself.

At 3pm Chicago time, I will put up an “and PLAY” comment and we will all comment along from there! Based on the poster, many of our comments will be fashion/grooming related.
Danny you have to learn to take romantic rejection.

He needs to learn that a LOT in this movie.

Calling each other “bhai” sarcastically without realizing the relationship, like the “tumhaara baap” bit in “Suhaag.”

Did we go from day to night and now back to day? And no one doing post-production on the movie noticed?

lol I never even notice that anymore I’m so inured. If the movie says it’s night it’s night that’s how I roll.

and it is so clearly fake because we all know Shashi can’t grow facial hair.

Confusingly so, since he is very, very good at growing chest/arm/back-of-hands hair.

I once saw an old BBC documentary about Rajesh Khanna. They showed footage of them rehearsing a song picturization, having to take many many tries to get the rhythm right. The interviewer asked RK some question like “Do you enjoy doing this kind of thing, even though it takes one zillion takes?” and he eagerly said, “Yes! So often I am walking through trees, and this time I am jumping through rocks instead.” Or something to that effect.

That was a GREAT documentary. 15 year old Dimple choosing a sari – SO YOUNG! RK, seemingly high, or just stupid during interviews, contrasted with eloquent Sashi! ANd the mean nasty paper columnist!! Awesome.

Now that Shabana is out of undercover, of course she has to wear a nice modest sari

I presume that she would ordinarily be in uniform? (We see that photo of her in uniform earlier.) But presumably she can’t do that in the middle of a mission.
