Well, here’s a Shahrukh question for you… is there a song of his that you love the audio but don’t like the video of. Like maybe the choreo was cringey or the song was just visualized badly on screen?
Also I rewatched Jersey and Angie might be right in that the movie is kinda pointless. There’s an emotional twist that worked for me when I saw the movie the first time but this time it just made me mad.

Hmm, I wouldn’t mind hearing your thoughts on what the best SRK film from each decade is, 90s, 2000s, 2010s. Or maybe most popular vs. best acting vs. best film. I’m celebrating by going through all the JHMS scene by scenes!

October. My fave month. Leaves, pumpkins, apple cider, the heat is gone, the snow’s still not here, Prabhas and Maria have birthdays and it’s Shah Rukh month on DCIB. What could be better?
I don’t really have a Shah Rukh question per se, but when I first discovered him, he was ranked the most popular, beloved actor IN THE WORLD. Over the years, his star has dimmed among some (not us) and I was wondering who eclipses him these days in India. Excluding Rajnikanth and Amitabh, who’s left with the gravitas , draw, and visceral appeal?

I don’t think anyone has replaced him. Aamir has more box office now, and Salman is more consistant, but no one has really risen up to repalce him. It’s odd, you would think the vacuum woudl inspire another star to rise, but no.

How about a round up of what he’s been up to for the past couple of years? It’s such a vacuum of new stuff but I feel like if you pulled it all together in one post it might tell a story. As opposed to what we wish he’d been up to. But there is a pandemic, and planning for a release well after things were supposed to be back in person is looking wise about now.

Yeah, he seems to have been learning to play guitar, experimenting with natural hair, and reading scripts. So basically the same as most other people this year, if you replace “scripts” with “books”.

Do you know that Aryan Khan has been detained for traces of drugs in a drug raid on a cruise? It’s the news that’s buzzing right now. What’s your opinion? Personally on me it’s not too surprising and will probably be forgotten in a few weeks.

Should SRK’s or any other celebrity be responsible for their childrens/relatives actions.

I don’t get a lot of time to come here lately but would have come for SRK month. Unfortunately, poor SRK has started the month in the worst way possible. His son Aryan has been arrested on drug charges and is huge news in India.

Yeah, I’m gonna give it a minute and let things settle. could be anything from him being arrested for holding, to him being present at a place where there was a drug bust.

Yes, better wait for the facts…Aryan had nothing on him, had not taken anything (medical tests negative) and had no relevant links/chats on his mobile… no custody anymore tomorrow, no further probing.
And, btw. the raid was just to get hold of him and his friends after getting a tip from ??? Aryan had been invited to the cruize (question: who exactly was behind the invitation).
So, yes, I don’t think it makes sense to discuss this on DCIB 😉

From other, no-SRK news – Samantha and Naga Chaitanya confirmed they are divorcing. I’m not fan of Naga Chaitanya but I really liked him and Samantha as a couple.
And other, this time happier news- I found out that new Indiana Jones movie will be shoot 20 km from my town! So excited.

Aryan is being framed. It is very very sad. NCB admits themselves that Aryan had no drugs in his possession and did not consume either. His drug tests came out clean. Still they arrested him because his friend had 5 gms of weed. And now they keep extending his custody on spurious grounds.
Cannot even imagine what his family is going through. Being so powerful against a corrupt government targeting you. If I was him, I would not even want to continue living in India.

I would love to spend SRK month sourcing the most wonderful photos of him that show different emotions. I think I have a lot and then I’ll come across something new and be stunned. Also what is it like to be photographed so much?

My dad has officially declared himself an SRK fan. Is there any sort of primer I can give him on stuff he should know? Or stuff that he should avoid knowing/watching? He’s not a book person but will read an online article (or a blog post ;]) He’s already seen a couple of movies, with more planned, and the Letterman special.
