Happy Saturday! We got through family Thanksgiving, and then second Thanksgiving, and now all I have to do is go get a massage (scheduled a month ago, because I am smart) and then have a friend over to help put up my tree and eat leftover pie. SO MUCH PIE.

White Christmas! SO GOOD! You should all go read our comments from the watchalong this morning and be happy. Oh, and also discuss who should play Bing, Danny, and The General in our Indian remake.
Antim! It’s getting good reviews? I just don’t believe it. Salman must have paid them all off. Also, apparently it is really a Aayush Sharma movie and Salman has more of a cameo, so I think I can skip it.
And Season 2 of Bollywood Wives is confirmed! What do you think the chances are for another SRK cameo?

Just to let you all know about my experience of Bunty aur Babli 2, it boils down to this: I left the theater singing the original’s title song.
So yes, I did have a good time finally watching a simple entertainer again. But there’s definitely not much original about this film. The most memorable moments were the shout-outs to the first film, including one or two nods to the fact that they weren’t able to get Abhishek back.

He’s cute in a boyish kind of way that even I find charming. In retrospect, I think he reminded me of a friend from my journalism class – someone who also always seemed a little more willing to cut corners. 😉
The girl was pretty unremarkable, but she’s good at the widened eyes of being rattled and almost scared.

Haven’t seen Bollywood Wives One yet. Is it worth my time? And even Aayush got good reviews in Antim altho they all say Salman was photoshopped. I remember the original Marathi film fondly and wonder if this remake is also worth my time.

Bollywood Wives One is pretty silly and kind of boring. But harmless. And the last episode has SRK!

I’m angry with Netflix. Yesterday I read there won’t be the second season of The Healing Powers of Dude, I have been waiting for months, but there will be another one of Bollywood Wives? Not fair.
