I got my couch!!!! FINALLY! Such joy, such beauty!!! And now I can sleep in the living room with all the Christmas lights on around me. Take THAT, grief and Seasonal Affective Disorder!!!!

We are happy. Finally, we can stretch out! Although Albie Dog resents a little bit that he has to share the couch with me.

Yes, an enormous couch is a supreme comforter for the winter blues. I spent a guilt provoking amount on ours to get one that could accommodate all three of and the dog Mack (now chasing squirrels across the great beyond) without buckling). We are a hefty bunch. There was a certain amount of jostling for pole position but we all bedded down in the end. Mack preferred it with just me and him – Albie is a lucky pooch.
