    • Hey, I let you pick Devdas! I could have made sure that, my least favorite SRK, was knocked out first round if I wanted to.

  6. Well balanced…11 easy choices, 11 tough choices (harr harr)
As it is about the hero, I have to choose the character, not the movie…
    Okay, here I am:
    1) Lalit (MM) – more layered than Ajay
    2) Sunil – rather realistic
    3) Surinder – such a lovable man
    4) G.One – yes, a good one
    5) Raj (DDLJ) – more mature than it seems on the surface
    6) Sunder (Chamatkar) – an innocent guy who has to learn some realities
    7) Harry (JHMS) – I love Dev, too, but he is a bit too cynical
    8) Samar – challenging the forces of the Universe (Om “only” challenging the evil guy)
    9) Shankar – from devote to combative
    10) Rahul (Yes Boss) – I wonder, how much Charlie will change…Rahul did
    11) Kabir (ChakDe) – I like Arjun, too, but Kabir tops him with subtlety
    12) Amar (Dil Se) – goes straight to my heart
    13) Raj (RBGG) – oh, oh, The Ghost is special, too, but Raj is the one who changes through learning
    14) Asoka – a powerful portrait
    15) Hero (ODYHI) – I like the movie Devdas, but not the character
    16) Raj (Mohabbatein) – someone with a hidden agenda although I prefer the movie Badshah to Mohabbatein
    17) Arun (One2Ka4) – also hard to choose, but he is believable in his friendship and his struggling with the kids
    18) Rahul (CE) – an immature guy who learns that he is stronger than he thought
    19) Rahul (K3G) – a moving portrait of an adopted son
    20) Raj (CC) – the opposite to an angel
    21) Raj (Dilwale) – I prefer MHN as a movie, but Ram is almost flawless and Raj has to struggle between love and self-respect
    22) Mohan (Swades) – one of his finest characters while Veer is one of his altruistic ones

  7. Great response Claudia! ๐Ÿ‘ Itโ€™s difficult to separate the character from the film but youโ€™ve done an excellent analysis.
