Happy Monday!!! And Happy Rani Day!!! I am sitting in my lovely sunroom thinking that it is really too sunny. It might be time to consider blinds.
Here is where you get to ask me anything you want! From “what is your favorite Rani movie?” to “tell me a brief history of Rani’s life”. Just keep swinging back here all week as you think of new questions!
Now, obviously, question for you! What is your favorite Rani PERFORMANCE? Not movie as a whole, but just her performance?
I think I’m gonna go with Aiyyaa! She is just so dang charming and sweet and spunky and I don’t know if there are any other actresses who could pull that role off.

So I’ve inadvertently come across photos from the Pathaan shoot in Spain. Should I share them here? I don’t know how you feel about things like this.

“Bunty aur Babli” for me, I think. I also really love her performance in “Talaash,” but it isn’t a *fun* role like in “Aaiyaa” or BaB.

The same for me 🙂

I was thinking of Talaash too! She was so good in that, but in a sort of quiet easy not to notice way.

It feels like you’ve been trying to draw me out these past days, and that’s really sweet. I found no free time whatsoever while we were in Quarantine, and now I’m only slowly catching up again.
I can’t help but still be in love with MDK Rani.

I want a baby picture! filmikudhi sends me baby pictures (which I don’t publish), why don’t you love me enough to send me a baby picture? This is my secret evil plan, to suck you into sending baby photos.

In the beginning of my brain injury days I was listening to a lot of Bollywood is for Lovers. But now my brain is getting better and listening to people chat is boring. That said they talked about one film from 2021 that took place in a hospital and was like a Hindi Die Hard? Do you have any idea what film they were talking about? I’m terrible at remembering Hindi words or knowing how things are spelled when I hear them.

Possibly vidyut jammwal’s movie? Sanak? I haven’t seen it, but it’s 2021 and in a hospital

It must be Sanak. I only managed to watch first 20 minutes, because it was too stressful for my teste.

It starts with a nice couple in love, 2 minutes later we discover she has some very serious illness and must be operated. They don’t have money, so in the next few minutes we see Vidyut being heartbroken and asking everybody for a loan. Nobody helps, so he must sell the only thing they have – their apartment. Ok, they have money, she can be operated, but just when she is taken to the operating theatre, the terrorists arrive. All this in first 20 minutes! And I know that Vidyut is not know for being a good actor but he was very convincing as a heartbroken husband.

But you know she is going to be okay. He’s all sad and has to save the hospital from the terrorists (please tell me the terrorists aren’t all Muslim), but the movie won’t actually kill her? I’ll make myself feel better by telling myself she’ll be fine and two years after the operation they’ll end up getting a divorce anyway.
