Happy Monday! I had a very boring slow weekend and am feeling better, let’s see how I do when I have to actually sit upright and work all day.

Now, question for you! It’s national Pet Day, so a simple question: Dogs or Cats?
Dogs. 100% dogs. They have more personality, they get you outside, they love you better, they smell like dogs, you can squeeze them, they wag their tails, you can dress them up, they come in a greater variety of shapes and sizes, they can protect you, and they are just all around BETTER in every way. I really don’t even get why this is a discussion, just such a clear answer.

So I recently watched RRR and I absolutley loved it. It was the most fun I’ve had in the movies for a while and I truly am still exhilirated from the theatre experience. In honor of RRR hitting a 1000 crores, how would you write fanfiction of RRR?

I mean, RRR is already fanfiction! Which is amazing, fanfiction of historical figures.
If I were to fanfic it, I would make it more of a romance between the heroes. Maybe move on until when Alia dies (as she did in real life). NTR comes to find Ram Charan and comfort him. They go off into the jungle together, NTR teaches Ram how to hunt tigers and all that. Ram Charan is finally able to grieve and breaks down in NTRs arms. And then they have sex. And then are separated when NTR is kidnapped the next day by a tribe that has a feud with his. Ram Charan has to track him down and rescue him using his new jungle skills. And of course it turns out that the tribe has been paid off and is working with the British, it ends with a big battle when the rival tribe has been convinced to work with NTR and Ram Charan against the British.

Why does this work so well? Ram Charan and Jr NTR’s chemistry is seriously the best and there was this one scene where I thought they were going to kiss. Also it does not help that Alia and Ram Charan have barely any romance moments but I would never trade those for all the moments with Ram Charan+Jr NTR.

All animals. I even gently scoop shower spiders into a cup and put them outside, or in winter, on one of my houseplants.
That said, dogs all the way. I’m allergic to cats. My mother had 14 of them, probably to keep my visits short. But they were cute and cuddly and not all up in your face. Teddi keeps her eyes on me. Sometimes I don’t get up to clean the house so as not to disturb her. (Yeah right,)

2. Prateik Babbar – I know he is Smita Patil’s son and that he had some drug problems but I want to learn more. (you can guess I’m watching Cobalt Blue today)

1. Hadn’t thought about it, maybe!
2. Oh Prateik Babbar! He is the illegitimate son of Smita Patil and Raj Babbar. It was a big story when she got pregnant (Raj was married to someone else), and then she died of birth complications. So he had this whole very big entry into the world. Fastfoward several years, he had a soft launch courtesy of aamir Khan. First as the hero in Dhobi Ghat, and then as the heroine’s brother in Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na. Which was followed by a big launch film, Ek Haseena Tha, which flopped. And then he had drug problems and seemed sort of lost for a few years, before coming back and taking work and villains or whatever was out there (which I always respect). I remember when he was just starting and he had such amazing presence onscreen, if he still has that, I think he can still find a good career in the arty niche where his mother worked.

He still have amazing screen presence! He is the only reason I still haven’t quit watching Cobalt Blue (Neil Bhoopalam is also good, but he plays a very quiet and calm role, while Prateik is all SEX)
I discovered today that Prateik is half brother of Aarya Babbar who I recently saw in absolutely terrible Tera Intezaar.
