Chaiyya Chaiyya, honestly when it comes to an absolute classic of a song, immitated widely, just an amazing specatacle. I know it has been so overplayed people are sick of it, but well, there is a reason it has been overplayed.

Yeah, I agree with Genevieve. I’m going with Chaiyya Chaiyya because of the nostalgia and the fact that it’s such an iconic song.
You know, I used to think that Chaiyya Chaiyya was in KKHH because I used to watch the song all the time as a kid and KKHH was the only Shahrukh movie I watched/knew of. So therefore, five year old me thought that they both were the same movie 🙂

It’s not so strange you thought Chaiyya Chaiyya was from KKHH. Tujhe Yaad Na Meri Aayee from the movie has very similar sad and slow beginning sang with a very high voice, and the costumes of the singers and Malaika are very similar. In my opinion Chaiyya chaiyya would have more sense in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai than in Dil Se.

Oh yeah, I forgot that this song also had a dancing on top of transportation portion to it. Lol, I probably confused the two songs as well 🙂

I will say Chaiya Chaiya made NO SENSE in Dil Se! But it is the happiest part of the movie.
