Also, Holi! Any movies with good Holi songs we could watch? Besides “Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na”?
Or just in general, what is a light silly happy movie? 90s or earlier is okay, so long as it’s easy to find a copy streaming.

I was going to recommend Amar Akbar Anthony but then I realised that…uh …”soothing” isn’t a word you can use to describe that film 😅 (it does have a death sometime close to the climax tho… sigh) Hmm…nothing specific is coming to mind, but I’ll try to think of something!

Does JTYJN have a holi song?? I missed it! All I can think of are Sholay, silsila, baghban, and YJHD. But I don’t think any of those are soothing as such.

Of those suggested so far, I would love Bunty aur Babli, Duplicate, Band Baajaa Baarat or Duplicate. I watch Aatrangi Re about a week ago, so not sure I’m quite ready for it again (I expect I could manage).
My favourite Holi song (for choreography) is Gori Tu Lath Maar from Toilet: Ek Prem Katha but I don’t think I would call that light.
I also like the one from Darr but erm… no.

Your love for Bhangra Paa Le made me think that maybe I was unfair with the movie and I should try to finish it. But on the other hand Sunny is on my black list so I’m not sure.
