I am so confused!  Worlds colliding!  Shahrukh and Jay Z, Alia and Demi Lovato, Coldplay and AR Rahman.  WHAT IS HAPPENING?!?!?!?

Global Citizen is an international group/movement to deal with global issues globally, like environment, health, women’s issues, etc. etc.  And in some confusing way, having a massive multi-day music festival in Bombay is helping to achieve those goals.  I don’t quite understand it, but Shahrukh says it is a thing, so I will believe it is a thing.

Rather than try to understand it, I will just bask in enjoyment of the youtube videos of the experience.  Like, Amitabh and Farhan performing “Yaari” (my favorite part of Wazir) live.

Or AR Rahman singing “Humma Humma”

And then it gets all weird and worlds colliding, because here is Rahman singing his version of “Vande Mataram” with Chris Martin of Coldplay.

I am sure more videos will come trailing out over time, I’ll post them as I find them in the world.  Think of these as just an appetizer.
