The best to worst romance films post was hard, you ready for a real challenge? Hottest to least hot SRK. Can you accept this challenge of objective judgments?
Okay, I’m not going to do every single movie role, that would be crazy. Let us assume that there is little difference between the look of characters from, say, Deewana to DDLJ. I’ll use my own expert judgement to decide which roles to focus on in his long long LONG career. And you can all disagree with me. Or, just jump to Devdas and on, the really good bits.

Okay, break it to me, where did I mess up? Is it the ranking of the last 5 photos? Should Dear Zindagi be on top? Should KANK be higher?

I left out Karun Arjun, haven’t seen it yet. Added Don 2, Chalte Chalte, and Dil Se…, and I’m defining hot as a combo of beauty/come-hither-ness/sexy. Least hot to hottest.

Hmm. I like your definitions and I would mostly agree.
Except I would move KKHH and Ra.One to the “Hot in Flashes” section, for the basketball and gazebo scenes, and “Chammak Challo”
I’d move OSO back to the “hot in flashes” section
And I’d move Paheli allllllll the way back to “not hot”
Bigger cosmic question, is it better to have a movie where he maintains a steady lowlevel of hotness through out (say, Kal Ho Na Ho) or a movie that is mostly not hot but has certain very very high peaks (like Ra.One)?

Both can be very effective. In Swades if he kept the sexy turned up all the time it would detract from the story. But it’s wonderful and sells the love story when he decides to use it.

Ooo, Swades is a good example. He’s not a horrible person or anything in the rest of the movie, just not very sexy.

Yes to that! Sometimes I don’t mind all the hate for Zero, because that means the line to cuddle Bauua is shorter.

The mustache, the turban, the colorful loose shirts, it is just a big NO for me. If they’d set it somewhere else with different clothes, I would be all about it.
Glad you agree with my top 4! And I am willing to consider swapping KANK and Chak De.

Isn’t he a very soft hearted romance loving guy in it? I know you’re not doing it based off of personality but they had him wearing sweaters tied around his shoulders to go with the personality hahaha. I thought he was more masculine and hot in DDLJ and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. He was just cute in yes boss, not hot. But definitely the cutest. He was pretty hot in Veer Zaara! For my personal list, my age bias is showing. I’m early 30s now, so young Shahrukh is too young for me. I’m heavily weighted towards mature Shahrukh in all my choices.
But agree about KANK! Usually the western styling is trying way too hard, but that move is just perfect.

anyone know me, will now my Eternal love for kank, i love dev and maya, i never saw them as bad people, and there is sex scene for srk in it.
i think i messed up with the less hot, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi is no 4 not 2, My point here is completely physical.
