More Hot Songs! Songs That Will Definitely Raise Your Temperature (if you are a heterosexual woman)

I’ve done fire, I’ve done deserts, and yet the snow and weird cold snap keeps coming. I guess the universe is waiting for me to do “hot and steamy inside together” songs.

Ready to feel warm all over? Over and over? I will start with “Aga Bhai” from Aiyyaa

Moving right along, “Main Yahaan Hoon” from Veer-Zaara

Remember when Aamir was sexy? “Aankhon Se Tune”

And again, a little older “Dekho Na”

Really too bad this song was dropped from Agneepath! “O Saiyyan”

Okay, if you are a kind of twisted person who can enjoy sexy infidelity, I will include this song. And if you have never seen this song before, trust me and watch to the second half. “Where’s the Party Tonight?”

This one is a bit controversial, but I think still worth including. “Saans”

One of my favorite songs from college, “Aye Udi Udi”

Okay, I’m done! I mean, not really, I am sure there are more songs out there. But I am done with all I can think of. I will have to trust you all to fill in the gaps.

What song makes you feel warm all over even on the coldest day?

  1. Both of these warm me up, because they’re mostly about the build up, the anticipation, that moment when you want something to happen and the other person has made it clear they want something to happen, and soon, but you don’t really know exactly how it’s going to go down. So to speak. And each moves just past anticipation before ending. 🙂

A little searching on YouTube will turn up versions of the Shah Rukh/Rani hotel scene from KANK without the song intercut. I’m guessing…

  2. Warning a totally HOT HOT HOT song

Dancing on top of an abandoned sun baked mine, with smoke & fire in the background
That too wearing full black dress
Even watching it, we feel like, we are being roasted by the heat 🙂

    • Thank you! Khamoshi is perfect. I was trying to remember a Salman one and I couldn’t find a perfect one.

  3. Any Salman-Kat contenders? Or Hrithik-Kat… Bang bang?

Love Kats super athletic running in the jthj video. But why is she always barefoot? To stay closer to srks height? To convey an earthy uninhibited sexuality? I was worried she’d impale her foot on a random nail. Why is this video controversial btw? I find the emphasis on the playful earthy yet urban sexuality to make srk more currently relevant than his usual ott romance face. Note I haven’t seen the jthj film, so I’m just judging the video on its own merits.

    • I love Salman-Kat together, but they feel more warm than hot to me, if that makes sense. Hrithik and Kat are pretty hot, but spend most of their time dancing.

“Saans” is only controversial here, because many people don’t like Kat’s chemistry with Shahrukh. And yes to her barefeet!!!! WHY???? It’s almost to the point that I wonder if it was just a last minute change, lack her sandal strap broke or something and they went with barefoot as the best solution.

Don’t watch JTHJ, I didn’t like it and I think the two of us have very similar taste in films. The biggest flaw is that Kat and Shahrukh just have weird dead kind of chemistry. While he and Anushka are as sparkling together as always. So the love triangle is super unbalanced.

    • I can’t judge “chemistry”, but here are a couple of Kat-Salman songs which are good as songs. These might be more in the “sweet” than “hot” category, though.

  4. I’m so happy about the fact that you have a lot of commentators giving me additional info to yours which haven’t to do anything with ShahRukh…will I ever get the time to dive into everything that incites my interest here?
Yep, would have also brought up Dheere Jalna, the KANK song (I simply love the juxtaposing!) and Saans. However, I could bring every song where ShahRukh emits erotism…to heat cold days 😀

    • For someone from a hot country, he really is remarkably good at being a little furnace for those of us stuck in temperate climates.
