Yes! It’s true! We are finally watching Bang Bang! I was waiting in desperate hope if it appearing back on Netflix or Prime or something, but that’s never gonna happen. So we are einthusaning it!
Bang Bang! Happiest movie going experience of my life! Bahubali is fun, but a little stressful. Bang Bang is just happy happy happy happy. I went to see it in theaters 4 times, just could not keep away, and every time it was just as happy as the time before. An endless blackhole of joy, that’s what this movie is.
Unless you like movies to have depth and plot and blah blah. You don’t, right? You are happy with not-physically-possible boat chases and great dance scenes and random Pizza Hut product placement instead? If that doesn’t appeal, just skip this week, we don’t need you high brow folks. Us low brow types will be happy in the shallow end of the pool.
;;;____;;; I just found out i have to work on Friday and I’m not sure I’ll be able to comment along, but I am SO HYPED to read the comment section, because I love your phrasing of this movie: An endless blackhole of joy, that’s what this movie is.
BECAUSE IT IS!

Gahhhh! My husband planned a last minute small getaway for us and I am going to try really really hard to watch at least a part of it in between our outings. I love this movie so much!!! And my husband knows how much joy it gives me, so telling him that I need a tiny tiny break from our loving getaway to watch this movie for a couple hours should work, right?! 😏
Also, for those who don’t like Einthusan, the movie also seems to be uploaded YouTube with subtitles. Clearly the makers didn’t seem to care that much about the copyrights to this movie.

Nooooooo! Why do spouses do nice things for us? Now I am considering rescheduling, you can’t make it and Alli can’t either (and also loves this movie). But rescheduling is such a hassle. Hmmmm.

If you decide to reschedule, Saturday morning (7 to 8 am CT start time) works really well for me. My husband generally is a night owl and prefers to sleep in and I am always up super early. If you keep it for Friday, I will definitely try my best to join for a little bit.

Honestly, Saturday morning is a little tempting for me too. I’ve had a crazy busy (well, busy for quarantine) schedule the past few weeks, mostly because I had to squeeze in physical therapy twice a week, and the idea of having a looooooooooooooooooooong Friday afternoon with absolutely nothing is tempting.

Sorry, I gotta watch a Danish melodrama about a ballerina from 1913.

That sounds less happy

That depends how much joy you get out of extremely ridiculous hats.

Have you finished Jodha-Akbar yet?

No, the festival started on Saturday. But I’m looking forward to it! More hats.

Okay, I have to ask: what is Prodenone besides a city in northeast Italy (in one of my favorite white wine regions)?
