I am SO HAPPY! I have been looking forward to watching this movie with y’all since the WatchAlongs started, and doing it early on a Saturday morning makes it feel extra special.
You can watch it on youtube, on einthusan, on your DVD, just not on any legitimate streaming sources. At 7:30am I will post a “PLAY!” comment down below and then we can just keep commenting along the whole time. And yes, you are allowed to comment simply “this makes me so happy!”
This was SO AMAZING!!!! And it’s only 10am and I have all of Saturday laying in front of me. I am just so happy!

10-year-old is yicked out by the end credits song. Too sexy sexy for the pre-teen brain.

As is my 11 year old (who is fly fishing rather than here). I was reading a fantasy series at night to the boys, a YA book actually geared towards girls. And it did have a small bit of romance which I had to edit around. And then she…. looked up at him and realized she loved him. DONE!

It sounds like Genevieve is watching it again, maybe you could watch together?

It’s true, but I’m watching from the beginning so the boys can see the action they missed.

We’ll def watch but I want to wait for a time when the 7-year-old is here. He’d dig this one. He’s still playing soccer.

Re watching the movie with the kids 8-year-old, as brother is dying and mom is screaming on the phone “His mom calls way too much.”

Somehow this comment feels vaguely insulting towards you, his mother.

8 year old – “Mom he had to steal the diamond BEFORE the bad guys do.” Hrithik can do no wrong.

The boys have toy guns and are shooting the bad guys on the screen (I don’t allow video games so this is all they’ve got).

A glass doorknob fell of a closet door and the 5 year old is using it as the Kohlinoor Diamond.

It does seem like they may have used a glass doorknob for the movie prop

AND he found the plastic packaging that a baseball we just bought came in and now that is the diamond’s fancy box.

This somehow feels the same as my dancing on the couch along with Hrithik in Tu Meri

The boys are no ignoring everything on screen and running around playing diamond thief. So I guess after I see Hrithik’s chest ONE MORE TIME, I’ll actually turn the movie off. Gotta drool over the unattainable.

Random thought on Bang Bang: the shower scenes with dadi are kind of brilliant because they show how close they are and dadi is adorable sitting on the toilet talking about her thoughts, but at the same time, Kat in the shower.

That was what Anupama said about “Mere Khwabon” in DDLJ! Here is Kajol doing all these objectively sexy things, but then Farida is fussing around in the background, so that makes it not sexy, or acceptable sexy, or just different somehow.

Kat is the only person who can follow Hrithik’s bonkers kind of logic. Probably because of their childhood connection from 3rd grade.
